Luu’s is an independent wine shop in Etu-Töölö. We support Finnish importers and show everything from great producers and their stories to niche grapes and exciting winemaking techniques. Every bottle has a story, and we love telling them.
We believe Finland’s wine scene can be bigger, more diverse and more exciting, with independent wine shops alongside Alko. One small shop can’t change that alone, but every bottle bought, every glass enjoyed and every conversation started helps prove there’s a place for us. One day, we hope to see independent wine shops all over Finland.
Take a bottle home, or stay for a glass
Finnish law lets us sell wines only up to 8% for take away. BUT yes! For now, anything stronger than 8% you can enjoy right here. Our small seating area is inspired by wine shops in Italy and Spain, where you can enjoy a few glasses and make yourself at home.
We are not a wine bar: no kitchen, no food, no table service, just wine-shop pricing and a relaxed place to enjoy your bottle. You are welcome, even recommended, to bring your own food! The tables are here to support the shop; one day, we hope they can make room for even more wine.
